I came home from class yesterday with a notice on my desk that a package had arrived for me, but that since nobody had been here to receive it, was waiting for me at the post office.
So, this morning, I ventured to this post office - about a mile walk or so - and collected my ginormous package!!
Here's my "I got a package from home" face...
And here's the package.
And here are the contents of the package!
An inventory:
2 Sweatshirts
2 pairs of PJ bottoms
2 Pairs of socks
2 Boxes of Granola Bars
1 Box of Cheezits
1 Box of Honey Bunches of Oats
1 Package of Beef Jerky
1 Can of Hot Chocolate Mix
1 Can of Mixed Nuts
1 Jar of Peanut Butter
1 Box of Ritz Crackers
1 Box of Microwave Popcorn
1 Taco Seasoning Packet
1 Bin of Candy Corn
1 Bag of Hershey's Minis
And 1 Chewy, Gummy...Snake thing. Which completely cracks me up. Its about 2 feet long, is white and red gummy candy, and is called a "Hissy Fit".
Also included was a card from my padre, which I have yet to open (my room mate is still sleeping and my spidey senses are telling me that it's a musical card), a note from mom, and one of my brothers football pictures.
I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning! Or a pirate in a treasure cove! Or a dog in a butcher shop! Or...okay, these all are sounding greedy...but I'm so thankful!

Oooh, what a great care package! Lovin' it! Isn't it great having relatives who do stuff like that for us? What would we we do without them?
